Step 1 – After placing an order we send you a fabric sample from your actual roll of fabric. As part of Plumbs re-upholstery service you’ll be sent a sample to make sure you’re happy with your choice, and the shade and pattern is just right. We’ll call you to double check and make sure.

Step 1

Step 2 – To complete the work, the upholsterer will need to take your furniture away to the workshop. As part of Plumbs re-upholstery service we will take the utmost care of your treasured furniture while it is in our care, both during transportation and at the workshop.

Step 3 – As your furniture goes through the reupholstery process, every part is checked and replacements or repairs made if needed. As part of Plumbs re-upholstery service the existing fabric is stripped down, the frame is thoroughly checked and all loose joints tightened.

Step 3

Step 4 – Next, the webbings are checked and replaced if necessary. Hessian is usually applied on top of webbing. As part of Plumbs re-upholstery service we will replace any worn or damaged webbing and hessian.
