Plumbs are members of several organisations assuring quality and your complete trust in us to produce high quality reupholstery, guaranteeing that you will be thrilled and happy. We belong to the Association of Master Upholsters and Soft Furnishers (AMUSF), The Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA) and the Furniture Ombudsman.

The AMUSF is one of the UK’s oldest furniture trade associations and was established for member companies but also maintains high customer care standards.
The AMUSF works with other trade industries to ensure that standards are maintained and British industry continues to grow.

It provides customers with advice, support and help in the resolution of disputes and has a wide range of services available to members including health and safety and technical advice as well as sourcing services. The AMUSF has a consumer code of practice compulsary for all members ensuring it promotes excellence and continues to develop national standards to benefit you the customer.

FIRA have developed many of the test methods that form the basis of furniture standards worldwide. The Furniture Ombudsman is attached to FIRA and is an independent resolution service for the furniture sector. They consist of a panel from Trading Standards and Which? legal services. It was created to protect both customers and businesses and helps to improve the standards and services offered.
